Nicolet Shores is located in the quiet beauty of Wisconsin's northern lakes region. In addition to the many lakes and rivers in the area, Spectacle Lake--covering 171 acres--is on site. A half-mile from the resort, discover the 655,000-acre Nicolet National Forest, which offers fishing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. In winter, the Anvil cross-country ski area is eight miles away, the Nordic cross-country ski area is12 miles away, and Ski Brule--with both downhill and cross-country skiing--is 28 miles away. A lighted ice skating rink is on site, so bring your skates.

Units at Nicolet Shores have a fireplace, color TV, a full kitchen with microwave oven, dishwasher and VCR. Tapes are available for rental. Some units also haveair-conditioning. There are no phones in the units however, a pay phone is located in the lobby and is available 24 hours. 1BR units with a loft OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 have 1 bath, 1 queen bed, and 1 sleep sofa. 1BR units with a loft OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have 1 3/4 or 2 baths, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 1 sleep sofa. 3BR units with a loft OCC: Max 8/Pri 8, have 2baths, 2 queen beds or 2 double beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 sleep sofa. Rhinelander Regional Airport is about 35 miles away. The nearest major airport is 150 miles away in Green Bay. From Green Bay take Hwy 29 west to Wittenburg, then take Highway 45 to Eagle River. Follow 45N out of Eagle River 5 miles to Hwy 17, then 14 miles on Hwy 17 to Phelps. FollowHwy 17 out of Phelps 2 miles to County A. Take County A for 2 miles to Kentuck Lake Road and another 3 miles will be the resort's entrance signs.
