Approximately one block from the ocean, Sand Pebbles is also conveniently located to the attractions of San Diego. Take advantage of the resort's outdoor pool, spa, and games rooms. Golf and tennis can be found close by. Be sure to visit the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for horse racingfrom late July to early September. San Diego is only 21 miles to the south, whereyou can take in the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, and the many art galleries and museums the city has to offer. Other area attractions include Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Legoland. Tours are available.

All Sand Pebbles units have a television, telephone, and a full kitchen which includes a microwave oven, and a patio or balcony. There is a coin operated laundryfacility on site. Studio units OCC: Max 2/Pri 2 have 1 bath and 1 queen Murphy bed. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and 1sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, 1 queen sleep sofa and 1 bath. The resort strictly enforces occupancy limits. Resort is completely non-smoking. No pets are allowed. Extra linens are available upon request for a fee. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. The resort has two floors and no elevators. No air-conditioning in units. The resort enforces a US$75 security deposit, payable at check-in by Visa, Mastercard, check or cash. The resort is located on a busy street and near railroadtracks. Guests may experience minimum noise from traffic and passing trains. The resort does have handicap accessible units but these units are not ADA compliant.

Directions

The nearest commercial airport is San Diego Airport, approximately 21 miles fromthe resort. From the airport, take I-5 north to the Via de la Valle exit. Turn left off of the exit and then right onto Highway 101. Proceed approximately three blocks to the resort. From Orange County or Los Angeles airports, take Highway 405 south to I-5 south to Lomas Santa Fe exit. Turn right off of the exit and then left onto Highway 101. Proceed to the resort which is on the left.
