Description

The Neptune Beach Club is located in Saly-Portudal, 80 km South from Dakar. Saly is the most famous resort on the West Africancoastline, with its hotels, sandy beaches and Baobads. It is also a Game Fishing centre. In the region, you can visit the small natural reserve of Bandia. Neptune Beach organises excursions or visits to the Lac Rose, Saloum island or the island of Goree, near Dakar, where African slavesused to boards ships to America.

Further Information

Resort has apartments sleeping 4 or 6 people with 1 or 2 bedrooms, and an extra sleeping area in a loft. Twin or double beds are available. All units have a shower room. 2br units have an extra bathroom. All units have a full kitchen, a safety box, air conditioning, TV and a telephone. Drink only mineral water. Mosquito repellent is recommended. Bring your own medicine to travel in a tropical country (anti-malaria). Daily maid service is provided free of charge but bath linen are changed twice a week. On site you will find: shops, a gastronomique restaurant, bar, swimming pool, jaccuzzi and fitness equipment. There is a 24hour guard at the resort. Tourist tax charged per day, per person. No pets allowed. A beach with sun loungers is 150m from the resort, and free for your use.

BY AIR: Nearest Airport: DAKAR-Leopold Sedar Senghor Airport 80km. The resort will organise a pick up service for A CHARGE, from the Airport to Saly. This shuttle, only bookable in advance, is strongly recommended. You must inform resort of your flight number and schedule, and the number of people travelling (fax number : +22 1957 23 21). 24 hour reception, 7 days a week. NB: The use of public transport, taxis and private hire cars is not recommended due to the current political situation.
