Quinta Splendida is beautifully located within the Botanical Gardens of Canico Village, some 9km from Funchal. You can explore these colourful gardens while enjoying spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean. On-site there is an open- air restaurant as well as a gourmet restaurant in an old manor house. Other facilities include a health club, sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and spacious swimming pool with bar. Tennis and diving facilities are nearby. You can find one golf course, 9km from the resort.

Units comprise studios for 2 and 4 with twin beds, 1 bedroom sleeping 4 with twin beds and sofa beds and 2 bedroom sleeping 6 with double bed, twin beds and sofa beds. All units have well equipped mini kitchens, satellite tv, direct dial telephones, rental safe, radiators and hairdryers. No pets are allowed at the resort. Suitable clothing must be worn in the restaurant, no bathing clothes are allowed. Cots are available for babies andyoung children. There is a charge per week for electricity, water and cleaning which varies on unit size and is payable on arrival. Units are cleaned daily and linen is changed twice a week. A car is recommended to enjoy the area. Please note that studio units have privacy for 2 only. There is a free interenet service. Free shuttle bus service to Funchal six days a week. BY AIR: Santa Catarina - 9km BY ROAD: From the airport, take the motorway and follow the signs for Funchal.After approximately 7km take the exit for Canico. Turn right towards Canico and follow the road up hill for 500 metres. The entrance to Quinta Splendida is on theright hand side, opposite the post office.
