La Plagne is a purpose-built ski area lying almost entirely above the tree-line in open Alpine pasture. From Plagne Bellecóte at 1930m, 1 of 3 base 'villages'in the complex, the lifts go to 2700m withfurther systems rising to 3000m. The wholeski area of La Plagne is immense and thereare direct links to Les Arcs & Champagny, making it one of the largest areas in the world. Ancillary services in the area are good and include snowmobiling, skating, cinema, restaurants and nightclub. In summer it is possible to ski on the upper slopes of Bellacote and there is a choice of other sports including tennis and golf.

Further Information

The simply furnished units consist of studios sleeping 3 or 4 with partial kitchen including oven, coffee maker and dishwasher. There are NO toasters. A refundable deposit is required by CC or cheque on arrival. All units are heated and have a telephone. Televisions and cots can be rented from the reception if booked in advance. There is no maid service or linen change during the week, toilet paper is not provided and linen will be available for you to make your beds on arrival. The units must be cleaned at the end of your stay to avoid housekeeping charges. Reception is open Saturday and Sunday from 0800-2000hrs. Monday-Friday from 0900-1200 and 16h30-1900hours. Take A430 in direction of Albertville then N90 from here to Aime via Moutiers. Exit Aime and head to La Plagne - 18kms. BY TRAIN: To Aime and then bus or taxi toresort.
