Description

Cross country skiing is the main attraction of this resort, located at the ski centre of Le Praz de Lys, in Haute Savoie. In all, around 150km of cross country trails are available in the surrounding area, downhill ski slopes, with T-bars and cable cars just 1km from the resort. In summer, the area is quiet and ideal for mountain walks along marked trails. The local tourist board will advise you of all organised activities such as hand gliding, swimming, tennis andgolf. The resort has no activities and no amenities, but nearby are shops and restaurants open in high season.

Les Mouflons 1500 has studios for 4 with single beds or pull-out sofas, bathroom and mini kitchen with dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker,all the units are simply furnished, and have a balcony. Televisionscan be rented. There is no cleaning or change of linen during the week. A charge for cleaning will be made on departure if the unit has not been left clean. Pets areallowed for a charge. Reception is open from 9am to 12pm and from 4pm to 7pm. There is no check-in outside of reception opening hours. Refundable deposit payable on arrival (only cash accepted, no credit cards or cheques). On Bank Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays, the reception is open from 0800-1200 and from 1600-2000. For late arrivals the reception must be contacted in advance.

BY AIR: Geneva 85km BY CAR: From Geneva, take the A40 towardsChamonix Mont Blanc. Exit at Cluses, proceed through Cluses and follow the signs to Tanninges. On arrival in Tanninges, follow the signs for Le Praz deLys. Once in Praz de Leys, the resort is signposted as Clubhotel Maeva Les Mouflons. BY TRAIN: Annecy 100km or Cluses 25km. From Annecy, take the highway a40 towards Chamonix Mont Blanc, exit at Cluses and follow as above. A car is essential to enjoy the area in summer. Theroads are narrow and twisty, during wintercheck with the local police that the roadsare open.
