Fairways Club has been developed within anexisting leisure complex, the Amarilla Golf and Country Club. The resort is situated in a very quiet area on the sunnysouth side of the island and boasts a variety of on-site facilities, including aswimming pool, bars and a restaurant, making it an ideal location for families with young children. Golf, tennis and horseback riding is nearby. Most units offer spectacular views of Mount Teide and some have views of the water gardens. A car is recommended as there is no public transport except taxis.

There are studios for 2 with a double sofabed, 1 bedroom units for 4, some with double beds, some with twin beds and a double sofa bed, 2 bedroom units for 6 with a double bed, twin beds and a double sofa bed, 3 bedroom units for 8 with 2 sets of twin beds, a double bed and doublesofa bed. All units have full kitchens, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron/ironing board and hairdryers. All units have satelitte TV. Please be advised that in that in the area around Fairways there is on going construction. This is not within the complex but around adjoining area. There is a midweek cleaning.Extra laundry services available. There is a charge for electricity and water, depending on size of unit. Safes are available to rent. A handicap certificate is required to play(72 par). Golf can be pre-booked, Tel 34 922 708152. A food pack can be pre-booked at a cost by contacting the resort at least one week before arrival. Resort is located close to the airport so at times may be noisy. Resort offers daytime activities for children. Half-board package available - call resort for info.

By air: Nearest airport: Reina Sofia 8km. Take the motorway TF1 towards Los Cristianos. Take the first exit (62) signposted San Miguel/Las Galletas/Los Abrigos. Take the exit lane which goes back over the motorway, keeping in the left hand lane, following signs for Los Abrigos, NOT San Miguel. Turn right towards Las Galletas/Costa del Silencio. The entrance to Amarilla Golf and Country Club is on the left, marked by a large sign. Turn left here and drive straight on. Continue, passing the golf clubhouse on your right and Pebble Beach on the left. Beyond this, on the right, there is a small sign for the Fairways Club Reception.
