At a height of 1450m Clubhotel Meribel Les Allues is set in the Savoie region in the prime ski area of the Trois Vallees. With over 190 lifts and more than 600km ofpistes, it is a paradise for the keen skier, with trails suitable for all standards. In summer, the region has developed outdoor activities including tennis, golf, horse-riding, hiking and fishing - and there is summer skiing in the Vanoise National Park.

The resort comprises studios sleeping 3 and 1br units sleeping 4. All units have a toaster and microwave. TVs available to rent. Pets are allowed to stay for an additional charge but must be suitably restrained. Charges are levied for the use of some sports facilities. A refundable deposit and a tourist tax charge is required upon arrival, payable by cash, cheque or visa (no other credit cards). Reception hours: Mon-Fri 0900-1200 and 1700-1900, Sat & Sun 0800- 1200 & 1500-2000hrs. Members arriving outside normal check-in hours must contact the resort in advance on: 0033 0479 05439 or fax: 0033 0479 05576, as a door entry code is required. Units must be left in the condition they were found, and untidy units will incur a charge of 135FF. There will be an inventory check of the unit on departure before the deposit is returned. Covered parking is available free of charge to allmembers. A shuttle service to the station is available for a fee. The resort is unsure at present as to whether the swimming pool will be open for use by Summer 2002.

BY AIR: Geneva 200kms approx, Lyon 180kms.BY ROAD: Take the Autoroute Blanche to Alberville, then the highway to Moutier, then follow the signs for Meribel. Turn right up hill at signpost for resort. Oncein Meribel les Allues, resort is next to Hotel Le Savoy in front of the tourist agency. BY RAIL: Moutiers - bus or taxi to resort.
