Description

Sestriere is the most important tourist centre of the Piedmont Alps. You can be sure of a long ski season here, helped by artificial snowmaking equipment if necessary. It is the capital of a vast skidomain known as the Milky Way. Sestriere, (which is on the World Cup ski circuit) has much to offer both in summer and winter; downhill skiing and cross-country skiing in winter and in summer, numerous excursions, horse-riding, an 18-hole golf course, and tennis. Further Information

The resort offers 1bed units for 4 or 6 with double bed, double sofa bed and bunk beds. All units have partial kitchens, a diswasher, satellite TV, telephone, shower, hairdryer and balcony. Maid service and linen change is only available on request and for a fee (otherwise not provided). Safety deposit boxes are available. The resort is not suitable for disabled guests. Credit cardsare accepted for the refundable deposit only. No pets allowed. On-site facilities include steam room (fee charged), solariumUVA, massages and billiards. Reception hours: 0900-1300 & 1700-2100. CHECK-IN IS NOT PERMITTED DURING THE NIGHT. In high season there is a 24 hour reception, bar, mini market and shuttle service for the ski lifts. In low season not all the shops or on-site facilities are open. Please note that the resort cannot change confirmed dates, check-in or units. Directions

BY AIR: Nearest airport: Turin 82km. (2.5 hours). Milan 210kms. BY ROAD: From Turin airport take the ring road towards Piacenza/Savona. Exit at Stupinigi. Then take the road SS23 towardsPinerolo/ Sestriere. Once in Sestriere turn right at the first crossroads. Pass the Olimpika Club and turn left into Via Monterotta. From Turin it is also possibleto take the T4 towards Frejus. Exit at Sestriere and follow signs to Sestriere. At Sestriere turn left, then follow as above. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the train from Turin to Oulx; a bus from Oulx to Sestriere and then a taxi to the resort.
