Club La Costa at Marina del Sol, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, is situated just outside the coastal town of Fuengirola. It overlooks the ruins of the famous Arabic castle Sohail, with the Mediterranean Sea to the front and mountain ranges to the rear. The resort boasts three large swimming pools, tennis courts, bars, restaurants, games room, jacuzzi and children's playground.

There are Studios for 2 or 4, 1BR units for 3 or 4 (some with limited kitchens), 2BR units for 6 and 3BR units for 8 with full kitchens. All units have microwaves, washing machines, electric heating, ceiling fans, music centres, SAT TV and telephones No pets are allowed. Babysitting can be arranged via reception. A car is necessary to enjoy the area although there is a mini train service around the resort and a shuttle bus service into town (small charge). There is a charge for electricity. Reception opens 24h daily. A credit card deposit is required upon arrival. Unit cleaning is midweek and on change-over day**Marina del Sol is a large urbanization and the units are located in different areas throughout the resort. Access to all public areas is via steps which may cause problems to members with walking disabilities. Safety deposit boxes available for rent. Resort not suitable for handicapped people. Members who wish to play golf must pre book tee-times in advance through the resort due to heavy demand in the area. Particularly in Mar/April & Sept/Oct. BY AIR: NEAREST AIRPORT: Malaga 28 kms. BY ROAD: From Málaga airport turn right and follow the N340 towards Cádiz. After approx. 3kms. turn right into AP-7 signposted Algeciras. By-pass Torremolinos and Benalmádena. Keep to the right and leave the AP-7 (toll road) once you see the sign A-7 Fuengirola/Algeciras. Approx.2kms after Fuengirola passing the castle Sohail, a camping site and a petrol station take the next turn right (sharp bend) into Urb. Marina del Sol. The reception is well signposted from here. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the airport take the train to Fuengirola and then a taxi to the resort.
