South Padre Island offers a vast array of water activities--water skiing, surfing, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, and boating. Galleon Bay Clublooks out on Laguna Madre Bay and has an outdoor pool, a whirlpool, and a fishing pier that extends into the bay. The on-site marina is available to guests withboats. Deep-sea fishing charters, boats, and equipment rentals can easily be found at nearby marinas. Other activities in thearea include cross-country sand skiing, golf, tennis, hiking, and biking. Go-cartsand four-wheel dune buggies are available for rental in the area.

All units at Galleon Bay Club have air- conditioning, cable television and a full kitchen with microwave oven, garbage disposal, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. All units are 2BR OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 with 1 3/4 baths, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleep sofa. Unit view is not guaranteed. Notify resort if a late arrival is anticipated; OFFICE CLOSES BY 5:00PM. No pets are allowed. All children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult while at the swimming pool. Guests are provided a week's pass to the health club. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. A US$100 security deposit is required at check-in, payable by MasterCard or Visa.

Directions

The nearest commercial airport is Harlingen Airport, about 42 miles away. From this airport, take U.S. Highway 77 south to Highway 100. Head east on Highway 100 to South Padre Island. Go about two miles to Capricorn and turn left. The resort is on the corner of Capricorn and Laguna.
