Description

Sestriere (2035m) is the most important tourist centre of the Piedmont Alps. You can be sure of a long ski season here, helped by artificial snowmaking equipmentif necessary. In fact, this is the capitalof a vast ski domain known as the Milky Way, where there are ski trails stretching into France. Sestriere, which is on the World Cup ski circuit, offers cross-country skiing in winter. In summer there is golf on an 18-hole course and tennis. Further Information

The resort comprises studios and 1br unitsfor 4 with a double bed and bunk beds. All units have a telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, a balcony and partial kitchen with a dishwasher. Maid service and change of linen is only available on request and for a fee. The resort is not suitable for disabled guests. Credit cardsare only accepted for the refundable deposit. A car is recommended. No pets areallowed. Please advise the resort in advance if late arrival is anticipated In high season there is a bar, live entertainment, a shuttle for the ski slopes and a 24 hour reception. There are also guided excursions. During low season not all of the shops and restaurants are open. Low season is as follows: 15th Sept-15th Dec, & 15 April - 15th June. Opening times during this season are: 0900-1300 & 1700-2100. Please note that the resort cannot change confirmed dates, check-in orunit. All units have a safety deposit box.A steam room is on-site. Directions

BY AIR: Nearest airport Turin 82km (2.5hrs) or Milan 210kms. BY ROAD: From Turin airport take the ring road to Piacenza/Savona. Exit at Stupinigi. Take the SS23 to Pinerolo / Sestriere. Once in Sestriere turn right atfirst crossroads. Pass the Olimpika Club and turn left into Via Assietta that ends in Via La Gleisa. The resort is 400mtrs on the left hand side. From Turin it is also possible to take the T4 towards Frejus. Exit at Sestriere and follow signs to Sestriere. Turn left, then as above. BY RAIL: Train from Turin to Olux, then bus from Oulx to Sestriere and a taxi to the resort.
