Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just three miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Alpine Village offers spectacular mountainviews, tranquil surroundings and warm hospitality. A tennis court is available at all times and a heated swimming pool isopen during the summer. Several national and state parks are nearby, offering hiking trails throughout the mountains. Mount Mitchell Golf Course, one of the finest in North Carolina, is only two miles away. Visit the Biltmore House and Gardens, an 11,000-acre estate built by George W. Vanderbilt, located about 55 miles from the resort in Asheville.

All units have spacious private decks witheither a fabulous view of the mountains ora view of the deep woods. Due to the highaltitude and cooling breezes, the units are not air-conditioned. Each unit comes with a fireplace and microwave. The 2BR units also have a washer/dryer and dish- washer. 1Br units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 king bed and 1 queen sleep sofa.2 BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 1 king bed, 2 twin beds and 1 queen sleep sofa. Max 6/Pri 4 have 2 baths, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 sleep sofa. Occu- pancy limits are strictly enforced, NO ex-ceptions will be made. It is suggested that tee time reservations be made a week or more in advance. If you wish to play Mount Mitchell Golf Course, Ph (828)675- 5454 (discount fees are available). The resort is located in a "dry county" (sale of alcoholic beverages is restricted). A car is a necessity. Children are welcome,however, there are no children's activities at the resort. Hiking, golf, gem mining, enjoying nature's waterfalls, craft show browsing, tennis and swimming are the main activities in the area. Petsare prohibited.

Directions

The nearest commercial airport is approximately 65 miles away between Asheville and Hendersonville. From the airport, take I-26 west to Asheville, where it becomes I-240, the Asheville Way.Take the 19-23 North exit off I-240 towardWeaverville. Travel north on 19-23 for 20minutes, then go east toward Burnsville on19-E. Four miles east of Burnsville, at Micaville, turn south on State Road 80. The entrance to Alpine Village is 12 milesfarther. Turn on South Toe River Road. Itis the first road south of the golf courseentrance on Rte 80 (2.5 miles north of Blue Ridge Parkway). Then follow Alpine Village signs to the resort.
