With Glacier National Park and the boundary of the Great Bear Wilderness justoutside the property line, this resort offers a wilderness adventure amid all thecreature comforts of its fully furnished units. The individual log homes are surrounded by natural vegetation and have private outdoor hot tubs. In summer, enjoyhiking, rafting, fishing, and swimming. Cross-country or downhill skiing are available in the winter. On chilly evenings, snuggle in front of the fireplace and enjoy this rustic hideaway.

All log home units have a full kitchen with a range, oven, dishwasher, and a microwave oven. Units also have satelliteTV and vhs-DVD player, stereo, fireplace, alarm clocks, barbecue grill and washer and dryer. There are no phones located inthe units but there is one located on-site. Units are not air-conditioned. No pets allowed. No on-site movie rentals.1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 queen bed, 1 sleep sofa and 1 full bath. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have 2 queen beds, 1 sleep sofa and 1.75 baths. A credit card is required at check-in as aform of security deposit. Notify the property in advance if you anticipate a late arrival by calling 406/888-5664 as the property's office is CLOSED Sundays. No housekeeping services are available on-site. It is advisable to purchase groceries at the nearest town (10 miles away) PRIOR to arriving at the property especially during the winter! Firewood and Presto Logs are available to purchase on site. A car is required to fully enjoy the area. Glacier Heli-Tours Auto rental will meet clients at the West Glacier Amtrack stop.

Directions

Nearest airport is 35 miles away in Kalispell. When leaving the airport turn left onto north Highway 2. At the junction of of MT40 and Highway 2 (stoplight) take Highway 2 East. The resort is 28.9 miles from this intersection. Follow Highway 2 East through West Glacier and past mile marker 163. Turn right at the Glacier Wilderness sign. Follow gravel road 1/4 of a mile to reception center.
