Description

Papakea is located 10 minutes away from the historic town of Lahaina, center of the island's whaling industry from 1840 to1865. Today, the town is a center for pineapple and sugarcane production. Guestscan choose from a wide variety of water sports at the beach adjacent to the resort. Two swimming pools, two tennis courts, a barbecue and picnic area, along with a beautiful tropical garden can all be found on site. Golf, local cruises, anddeep-sea charters are available nearby as are many fine shops and restaurants. All units at the resort are non-smoking.

All vacation units include a full kitchen with a dishwasher, disposal and a washer/ dryer. No air conditioning in units. Studio units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath,1 queen murphy bed and a sleep sofa. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and a queen murphy bed. Check-in office is located at the Valley Isle Resort. Late arrivals, please call 808/262-4048 for instructions. A US $50 deposit is required for long distance phone calls. Directions

The Kahului Airport, about 30 miles away, is the nearest commercial airport. From the airport, take Highway 380. Turn left on Highway 30 (Honoapiilani Highway) and proceed through Lahaina, past Kaanapali Beach Resort, to the Kahana exit. Turn left at McDonald's Restaurant and continueto the stop sign. Turn left again. The check-in office is on the right at Valley Isle Resort, 4327 Lower Honoapiilani Highway. Papakea is then another 2 miles south at 3543 Lower Honoapiilani.
