Sands of Indian Wells is a quaint resort located only 15 minutes east of Palm Springs. The resort offers an outdoor pooland is an ideal location for those seekinga quiet getaway. For those seeking more excitement, world-class golfing, tennis, and shopping are available in Coachella Valley. In addition, nature lovers will appreciate the wilderness of Idyllwild, Joshua Tree National Monument and its wildlife sanctuary, and the beautiful mountains and canyons of the desert. The resort is a quaint motel conversion which offers air-condioned units, each with a cable TV and partial kitchen with amicrowave oven. Because the units are relatively small, recommended adult occupancy is 2. Studio units OCC: Max 2/Pri 2 have a 3/4 bath and 1 queen murphy bed. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have a 3/4 bath, a queen bed and a queen sleep sofa. 1BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have 1 1/2 baths, 2 queenbeds and a queen sleep sofa. Resort strictly enforces occupancy of units. No pets are allowed. Recreational vehicles, trailers and campers are prohibited in Indian Wells; contact the resort in advance for parking. A credit card imprint is required at check-in. Please call ahead if arriving late. The resort has two floors and no elevators. The resort's phone system closes at 5pm. Guests may still make outgoing calls. In order to receive incoming calls, the caller must have the guest's room number. PLEASE CALL THE RESORT IN ADVANCE IF A SMOKING UNIT IS REQUESTED.

Palm Springs Regional Airport, approximately 12 miles away. From the airport take El Cielo south, turn left (east) onto Ramon Rd. Turn right onto Date Palm. Turn left onto Hwy 111 and continue on Hwy 111 to the town of Indian Wells. *Resort is on the north side of thestreet, just past Cook Street. The resortoffice is at the rear of the project. Ontario Int'l Airport is 70 miles away, and Los Angeles Int'l airport is 125 miles. From L.A. or Ontario take I-10 east to Palm Springs, exiting right onto Cook Street.
