Tahoe Sands Resorts offers both lakeside and woodside lodging on the north shore ofLake Tahoe. Crystal-clear Lake Tahoe offers all your favorite aquatic sports, including sailing and windsurfing. Near the resort is North Tahoe Regional Park, a108-acre park with facilities for night tennis, outdoor racquetball, volleyball, biking, and cross-country skiing. Also close at hand is the Northstar ski area, which boasts 41 runs, a vertical rise of 1,259 feet, and casinos. You can also enjoy the resort's beach, sauna, heated outdoor pools (May - Oct), hot tub, and other recreational facilities.

Each unit at Tahoe Sands Resort has a television and a microwave oven. Studio units OCC: Max 2/Pri 2 have a 3/4 bath (shower only) and 1 Murphy bed. Studio units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have a 3/4 bath, 1 sleep sofa and 1 Murphy bed. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 have a 3/4 bath(shower only), 1 queen bed and 1 sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 have 1 or 1 3/4 baths (shower only), 1 sleep sofa, either 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds. The resort has two stories, and does not have an elevator. Please contact the resort for more details. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. Ski seasons vary each year. Contact the resortto verify dates. During the months of April and May, some shops and restaurants in the area might close. Units are located lakeside and woodside. Directions

The Reno/Tahoe Int'l Airport is approximately 50 miles away. From Reno, take Hwy 395 north to I-80 West. I-80 West to Hwy 267 South. (Near Truckee). Follow 267 South to North Lake Blvd. (There is a stop light at the junction.) Turn right onto North Lake Blvd. and follow about 1.5 miles to the resort. Tahoe Sands will be on the left (lake) side of the road.
